The Literary Hotel – The craftsmanship and attention to detail, our original 1915 maple flooring with black metal fabricated case goods joined with wood and steel are true fabrics of the Midwest. We have 11 unique and different rooms all with their own characteristics found only in a restored historical building repurposed and open to the public.
Single King
Unwind in this 271 square-foot room, boasting one King Size Westin Heavenly mattress and a 5′ shower with a rainfall shower head.
Grand Single King
Enjoy west and south views in this bright 316-square-foot corner room, 3 walls of exposed brick featuring one King Size Westin Heavenly mattress and brick walled vanity with a 5′ shower rainfall shower head.
Double Queen
Built for travel buddies, friends, and families, our 389-square-foot room featuring two Queen-size Heavenly mattress beds, high ceilings, large windows facing south for bright and sunny days and the original 1915 auditorium hardwood floors. sleeps 4 but there is room for a 5th on our free airbed we offer.
The private bathroom features a 5′ shower rainfall shower head. Watch a movie. You have the restored 1915 moveable balcony chairs. Just bring popcorn or ask us and we will provide!
Canopy King
The Canopy King is our largest and most appointed room we have. Included is a 6′ soaking tub, black piping King bed frame drenched in light from our eight-foot wide and 8′ high window.

Queen Bunk
Spread out within this 449 square-foot double room suite, featuring one Queen Size Westin Heavenly mattress and a 5′ shower with a rainfall shower head.
An adjoining room is specially designed with Twin XL bunk beds, sleeping 4 with each bed having their own LED reading light with a USB port.
Ideal for a family or a girl’s night out.
